Happy Birthday, Eleanor!

If you popped by the studio today and saw the doors closed, we apologise- but we all had the day off today! Today is the first birthday of Ian and Hayley’s beautiful little girl Eleanor, so we spent the time playing with balloons and eating jelly instead. Happy birthday Eleanor, we all love you lots!

If you’re just here to see some tattoos, don’t worry, we have those as well. Here’s some stuff from the boss this week…

First up, here’s a lovely lady Ian tattooed during the week. It’s all freehand and looks beautiful. It’s going to get to a point where half of Newcastle has a beautiful lady from Ian on their skin- which can’t be a bad thing at all!

Also, another lovely, classy traditional rose. Because hey, why not? This is all freehand as well, and took about 90 minutes, including drawing. Some of you who are always worried about pain will probably be reassured from reading this that Ian works really fast!

And lastly, here’s an Aphrodite tattoo on Tek! It’s based on Botticelli’s painting, ‘Birth of Venus’, and it rocks. I don’t think you can see the face very well in this picture, so I’ve added in another one besides it so you can really see how great this is.

Finally, just a reminder that the amazing Scott Banks will be in the studio next month, from the 3rd-7th of October. He’s a brilliant tattooer and all-round nice guy, so you need to hurry up and fill in in the rest of his spaces before he goes to New York! If you’d like to make an appointment, you can pop into the studio at any time and have a chat about it.

Right, we’re all off to sleep off the ice cream and jelly now, thank you for reading!
