Bank Holiday What?

It’s bank holiday Monday! Let’s go wild! Of course, not in the studio, though, as we stay open over bank holidays so that you can use your day off to get booked in. I hope you used the day wisely and booked yourself in while you have the time to. If you didn’t, here’s some work done over the week that will make you regret it, haha.

Last week, Ian finished a little more of this Rogers inspired half sleeve. It really rocks now, and there’s only about another hour left to go, to fill in the inside arm. This will look amazing when it’s finished- actually, it already does now.

Ian also did this cool dragon on Saturday. This was this guy’s first tattoo, so he’s a real lad for getting his first one fairly big! He’s also a lad for getting a great first tattoo- many people’s first tattoos suck, but this one is great! The picture doesn’t do it justice, it looks better in real life. I blame Instagram.

Hayley also flexed her inner Japanese artist over the week, with this wonderful Japanese Tiger, complete with pretty cherry blossoms. Work like this is timeless, and will continue to look amazing well after your mate’s tribal armband starts to lose its “cool factor” with the guys down the pub, haha!

Next, a cheeky walk in from Dave. Neck tattoos are only for people who have great jobs and plenty of coverage! If you want a neck tattoo, work your ass off at your crappy job until you, get a sleeve and have your mam yell at you for not calling, then you’ve earned the right for one. It’ll be the best tattoo you’ve ever had because you’ve earned it. Then, you can get a really cool spider from Dave, who can draw things like this in his sleep.

Time for a drawing- this one is a lovely gypsy head by Hayley, and it really rocks. While Hayley is at home looking after her little girl, she loves to draw loads of awesome things like this, so that she can tattoo them on you all when she’s in the studio. Hayley will have space again in September, so if you’d like to book in with her, hurry up, please! Before her spaces are gone again!

Finally, a little bit of news! On Saturday we sent some pictures of Ian away for his upcoming interview in Tattoo Revolution Magazine. There isn’t a date set on when this will be out, but we’ll let you know as soon as we can. Keep an eye out if you are interested in reading it. Until then, here’s a picture.

That’s all for now, see you on Saturday! Thanks for reading.
