Hey everyone, the sun is out again! This usually means that more people are popping into the studio, so if you’re after walk ins you’d better get here pretty early to avoid disappointment- doors open at 10.
Right, onto this week’s work. First up, Ian did a really cool pin up, again! You’re all loving Ian’s pin ups, it’s great. Thankfully, Ian loves tattooing them on you all.
Hayley did some great roses on her customer Ed this week. Hayley’s roses are always beautiful, and she has a hell of a lot of requests for them. You can see why in the picture below, really.
Next up, Paul answers a common question customers have: can you tattoo over scars? You certainly can, although we’ll have to see those scars when you book in to be sure, as they have to have healed. This tattoo is brilliant, though, and covers over those scars beautifully. It’ll look even better when it’s healed, too!
Can we put another rose tattoo in here today? Definitely don’t see why not, everyone loves roses. This one is from Blake, and it’s great. This kind of tattoo is always surprising, since it looks simple at first glance- however, if you look at it again, you’ll see there’s more going on in there than you would think.
Alright, there’s this week’s tattoos (so far! Don’t forget we update this on a Monday, too!), now time for another business meeting: we’re still on the look out for a new tattooer to join us full time from September. From Ian: “No fakers, no fools. If you can’t draw traditional and/or Japanese, don’t bother. No scratchers, or goons barely out of an apprenticeship that think they’re great. Inbox for details; all inquires confidential. Don’t care if you are already at a studio, just don’t bring drama to my door.”- you can inbox Ian though Facebook- all details on our “Contact” page.
We’ll see you all again at the start of next week, folks!
