Pin Ups, Drawings, and a Classy Traditional Rose.

Before we get started with the rest of the week’s work today, we’ve got some news from Hayley. Unfortunately, Hayley won’t be working on a Saturday any more for a while, so this means that she’ll be in the studio on Thursdays and Fridays only. This means demand for her will be even bigger, so please remember to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Also, please don’t bother to book in with her if you’re not serious enough about honouring your appointment- actually, don’t book in with this studio at all if you can’t keep your appointment!

Hayley’s still putting great work onto people’s skins on a Thursday and Friday though, as mentioned above. Here’s a great Sailor Jerry sailorette from her. Hayley also started some beautiful roses this week, we’ll let you know when those are finished so you can see!

Hayley’s apprentice Siobhan will be tattooing tattoos next week for £20, from the selected designs below. These tattoos are for the hip to the knee, and are for this week only. Come down to the studio to book in.

Ian’s apprentice Lauren has also been drawing some really cool stuff lately. You can come down to the studio to book in with Lauren, too!

Also, here’s some work from Ian himself. This beautiful fan dancer is on Ian’s customer Lynda. If you’re going to do it right, you might as well do it big, too.

We seem to have a pin ups and flash theme going on here today. Let’s break it up with everyone’s favourite tattoo- the simple, classic traditional rose. This one is by Dave. If you’ve looked around this blog before, you’ll see that everyone has their own way of drawing roses. This is because every one is drawn up individually for you when you book in, so everyone here has developed their own way of drawing them. Good tattoo studios are full of people who know how to draw.

I was just about to end this blog post, but Ian has just this second shared some more work! This is the second time in a row, the guys are just always putting great stuff out so I have to try to keep up! Thankfully, you don’t have to now that we have this blog. Here’s some linework Ian’s just finished for what looks like it’ll be an amazing tattoo.

This would have been bigger if that text at the top wasn’t there. Ian says, “an owl can turn it’s head full circle; but an eagle can rip an owls head clean off.”. The more you know.

Okay, now it really is your lot for this half of the week! We’ll be back, as always, on Saturday evening. Have a good week, everyone!
